Elbdeich Reederei was founded in 2004 and is today run as a family business.

Our shipping company currently operates around 30 container ships with a focus on the feeder segment and has developed into one of the leading tonnage providers for European feeder trades.

Through our service companies USC Barnkrug and USC Crew, we offer the full range of services of a modern shipping company for both our own fleet and third-party customers. To do so, we rely on long-standing, established, and trusting cooperation with our customers, service providers, and business partners. This enables us to ensure the reliable operation of the ships we manage 24/7 and to engage for our fleet with utmost passion.

The headquarters of the Elbdeich/USC Group, which currently employs around 40 dedicated colleagues, is located in Drochtersen in the district of Stade.
